The Adamic Altar

After the fall of man in the garden, God's platform of  relationship with man changed and as the precepts of God's dealings with other men in scriptures such as Noah, Abraham etc. reveals; it gives us a glue and trace to how God must have had to relate with Adam.

Gen. 3:21  Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Heb. 9:22  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

God's making of coats of skins for them involves killing an animal or animals; the shedding of blood, notwithstanding the fact that God could have supernaturally produced such coats for them. Later on we see Adam's first sons, Cain and Abel.

Gen 4:3-4  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

The acceptance of Abel's offering was by the manifestation of fire upon the altar.

Lev 9:24 And there came a fire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces. KJV

Judg 6:21-22 With the tip of the staff that was in his hand, the angel of the Lord touched the meat and the unleavened bread. Fire flared from the rock, consuming the meat and the bread. And the angel of the Lord disappeared. NIV

1 Kings 18:36-39 At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: "O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. 37 Answer me, O Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you, O Lord, are God, and that you are turning their hearts back again."
38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.
39 When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, "The Lord-he is God! The Lord-he is God!" NIV

Father Adam must have taught them how to raise an altar of offering unto the Lord.
It was on the basis of the altar that God had taught them to build which they built that God had a relationship with them, for their initial relationship where God would usually come in the cool of the day to commune with man, take note of his state and give him some task or make more provisions for him was marred by sin.
It was with this altar which we would call the 'altar of Adam' or "the Adamic Altar" that God was unveiling His redemptive plan for man for He told the serpent

Gen 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This Adamic Altar was a remedial and a basis for a form of relationship to exist between God and mankind. This altar made an atonement for their sins and they were forgiven (in a sense for in Heb. 10:4, it is noted that the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sin) but not completely unpunished for the effect of their disobedience resulted in their death and in the death of all men

Gen 5:5  And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

In Hebrews we are told how that it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sin

Heb 10:2-4  For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

The Adamic altar was like as the atonement done by the high priest which seems to make a grant for the Israelites for a period of one year. At the arrival of Jesus Christ comes that which takes away the sins of the whole world.

Joh 1:29  The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

To understand the Adamic altar we must know how that the garden of Eden constituted a temple. Eden was the outer court for it was the place of the presence of the Lord.

Gen 4:16  And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

The other trees of the garden constituted the inner court guarded by the cherubims

Gen 2:8  And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

An the two trees, the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the midst of those other trees was the innermost court, the holies of holies where the flaming sword of the word of God turned to protect

Gen 2:9-10  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Furthermore being told in Ezekiel how that the a river flows from the temple to the countries, we see how that a river comes out of the garden of Eden

Eze 47:1-2  Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

Water ran out of the right side of the house, the right side of the altar which is eastward of the temple just as a river comes out of the midst of the garden the place of the two trees.
Another place in scriptures that shows how that the garden was a temple not only that Eden itself was called the garden of God.

Eze 28:12 -14 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Satan being the anointed cherub that covereth was in the garden of God, his name in this place is called "the king of Tyrus" Tyre being the hub of trade revealing how that at the fall, Adam traded all riches and wealth with the king of Tyrus. We know how that cherubs are associated with the temple of God even in that temple that we unveiled to Moses on the sacred mount. They were the Cherubims that covered the atonement cover

Ex 25:18-20 And make two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover. 19 Make one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; make the cherubim of one piece with the cover, at the two ends. 20 The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover. NIV

Ex 26:31 Make a curtain of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, with cherubim worked into it by a skilled craftsman. NIV

Adam's altar was situated in front of the Cherubim who were at the east of the garden, for there was man to seek mercy and grace looking forward to the appearance of the seed of the woman.
An altar necessitates a priesthood, therefore there was a priesthood that was ordained after the fall with Adam being its first high priest. Men were to go to this altar regularly to strengthen and renew their relationship with their creator but unfortunately only few were faithful for then we read

Gen 6:5-7  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them

After Adam's death, Enoch and others were faithful to this altar.

Gen 5:24  And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Heb 11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Father Noah continued to minister upon this Adamic altar, for he was accounted as one who was righteous. For would it not being that like as Abel whose sacrifice was accepted by God, his also was accepted for it is written that he (Noah) worked with God

Gen 6:8-9  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

He was a preacher of righteousness
2Pe 2:5  And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

He was one that feared God and had respect for His word
Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith

He also was an intercessor for the people, for we know how Daniel and Job interceded
Eze 14:14  Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.

The altar he raises after the flood unto the Lord couldn't have been his first altar, although the first temple of the garden had being lost after the flood.

Gen 8:20 -22  And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

After the flood, the whole earth was repopulated by Noah and his sons, although Noah is quite different from Adam in that Adam's wife came from him whereas Noah had wife from another person. Adam's altar was a most significant altar, for it is the altar of the first-father. When God made man, having given him dominion and authority over all, his fall being there fall and his victory being their victory, Adam's altar is or can be called "the altar of the Earth".

Gen 1:26 - 28  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Adam's sacrifice upon that altar not only manifested a remedial for him and his wife but for the whole creation under him just as Noah's altar unto the Lord being the father and leader of the new race of mankind after the flood manifested a relief and a blessing as much as his name "Noah" (Gen. 5:29) also prophesied; so did Adam's altar brought relief and a platform of relationship between mankind, creation and God.

After the fall, God's relationship with man was on the platform of a covenant. For while would Adam's son come to offer sacrifices unto the Lord in the process of time, during the harvest.

Gen 4:1-4  And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Secondly, it was after the flood that Noah raises an altar unto the Lord just as Father Adam after the fall raises and altar to the Lord. We understand that both the fall and the flood were things that resulted as a result of man's failed relationship with God; for at the fall man was driven from the garden and at the flood the garden was destroyed as well as men. As after Noah's altar of sacrifice, God blesses Noah and his sons and enters a covenant with them and all creature so also did God blesses Adam and Eve (For He made coats of skins to cover their nakedness and this can be regarded as a blessing) and for since He yet loves them would He had entered a covenant with them. So therefore Adam and by representation all creation were in a covenant relationship with God through the platform of the Adamic Altar. Although we do not understand the details of this covenant that God had entered with Adam after the fall but for man to have lived and not being destroyed showed a kind of preservation and remedy that ensueth from that which is of a covenant.

Gen 9:1-17  And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man…
And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;  And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.  And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth…  And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

It can be deciphered by the wisdom of the Spirit, that the King Melchizedek, the king of Salem and priest of the most High God, possessor of Heaven and the earth was a priest that knows the Lord God of Shem.

Gen 9:26  And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

There must have been a connection and a relationship between Him, his priesthood and the priesthood of Noah. For Noah who had offered sacrifice at the altar of Adam and carried the spiritual heritage of the Adamic priesthood [Adam's God being the creator of Heaven and the Earth Gen. 1:1] over the flood. He instituted a priesthood as we seen after the flood in the passage above which enacts a covenant that affects all living things with the Most High God who owns all these things.
Also calculations of the years of life, birth and death as shown in the recorded genealogies reveals how that Father Shem lived up to the days of Abraham and even beyond. King Melchizedek's priesthood is of that which was instituted by Father Noah.
Examining Father Abraham's journey of faith we first see God calling him out of his country and native land.

Gen 12:1-3  Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

God promises Abraham a great blessing such that in him all families of the earth shall be blessed.

Gen 13:14 -17 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.

Later, after that Lot had left Abraham, the Lord God [who owns the earth and all in it] tells him to lift up his eyes and look at the four corners of the earth for all he saw would be given to him and his seed.

Gen 14:18 -20 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

In the course of time, after a war that Abraham had with kings, he is met by king Melchizedek who blesses him in the name of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth. At this point and in this place was the Adamic blessing which God had blessed him at the first when he was created and the priesthood which God ordained for Adam to salvage the curse and to create a channel for the manifestation of that blessing transferred to Abraham; for in him and in his seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. This seed of Abraham is the seed of the woman and therefore Abraham had to receive that spiritual mandate that had being preserved in the blessing and priesthood of the Adam transferred to Enoch to Noah and to King Melchizedek.
There is also a connection between the Melchizedek priesthood and the Levitical priesthood. Levi paid the tithes in the loins of Abraham. The priesthood of the old testament was also an extension of the Melchizedek priesthood that Adamic  priesthood of the earth. For the God of Abraham, the God of Israel and the God in whose name King Melchizedek blesses Abraham is the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth; the Lord God of Adam.

Heb 7:9-17 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.  For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

In examining Abraham's altars, one of them bears very great significance i.e. the altar upon mount Moriah where Isaac was to have being sacrificed which later becomes the place of the old testament temple. Some Jewish tradition has it that the place of Solomon's temple was the place of the garden of Eden. Remember, it was also the place where David's sacrifice was accepted in making an atonements for the people of Jerusalem when it was to be completely destroyed by the destroying angel.

Jesus who came to fulfil the laws and the prophets also made manifest the altar of Adam with His cross. The cross of Jesus Christ was not only a thing of the nation of Israel, it is the altar of the earth as well as it manifested the three altars of heaven (the bronze altar, the golden altar and the throne). For on the this altar of Adam, the altar of the earth was slain the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the whole world i.e. earth, not just for the nation of Israel only

Joh 1:29  The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

For while Abel's blood being a priest of this altar cried for vengeance for his blood; Jesus the high Priest of this altar cries for the forgiveness of all those that killed Him

Luk 23:34  Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Heb 12:24  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Rev 5:9-14 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Christ's death upon this altar was not just for mankind but for the whole of creation.

An Except for a book "Visions behind the veil by H. A. Baker"
When sin entered, man's enjoyment of this creation became a limited, temporal enjoyment. The first Creation of birds, and flowers, and trees, and animals, that were in the first world and its Eden in an eternal state, fell into a lower order that is not eternal.
"For the creation fell into subjection to failure and unreality." Sin lost to man his Eden "park" and his Eden God.
Restored from sin, man will be restored to his Eden God and his Eden "park." But man will be restored to more than the primal order. He will be born again into the new spiritual order.
The first order was earthly; the last is spiritual but real. It is similar to the earthly, even as Christ after his resurrection was real and similar but still spiritual and different from the earthly order. He still could eat and drink with his disciples. He still had flesh and bones that could be felt and hands that could serve fish and bread to His hungry disciples. But in the resurrected order the Lord was not subject to the limitations of the material world of time, and space, and physical bounds.
Even so the world with its natural order of animal, bird, and plant creation is to be born again into a
All creation was included in the work of the cross. When Christ died all creation died. When Christ arose all creation arose. When Christ bore the crown of thorns he bore all the curse that brought the thorn and the thistle. He is “The Firstborn of all Creation.” higher, spiritual order similar to the first creation but also different from it. It will be the real order not again subject to corruption and unreality (Rom. 8:20, Weymouth).
The natural creation is to be born again through the resurrection of Christ. Christ saves more than man. He saves the whole creation that fell into unreality in the fall of man. For "all creation, gazing eagerly as if with outstretched neck, is waiting and longing to see the manifestation of the sons of God . . . There was always the hope that, at last, the creation itself would also be set free from the thralldom of decay, so as to enjoy the liberty that will attend the glory of the children of God" (Rom. 8 :19-21 Weymouth).

Jesus CHRIST the Son of man, the second Adam in His death died for all creation for He was as Adam to whom all was made subject to. God spoke about the Son in Psalms 8

Psa 8:4 - 8  What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

 And also in Psalms 2
Psa 2:7-8  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

In Christ was manifest the new creation, which began from man's spirit as instant as new birth by being born-again. As at the creation of Genesis 1, man was the last thing that was created and that through which all fell, Christ in redemption brings about the new man, the new creation beginning from man's spirit and then upward to all creation which shall be fully manifest as the new heaven and earth shall be revealed even as it shall begin to be manifested from the millennium when Christ shall begin to establish His kingdom.
Rom 8:18 - 23  For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

The whole creature are waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God; believers in making manifest the realities of the death, burial and resurrection Jesus Christ.

When Jesus rose from the dead, He proclaimed saying All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth
Mat 28:18-20  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Rev 1:17 -18  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

We as priest of the most High God in the order of Jesus Christ can make atone for the earth upon the altar of the Cross which is the altar of the Earth, Adam's Altar

The LORD's Prayer at Gethsemane
Mar 14:32  And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
Mar 14:33  And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
Mar 14:34  And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
Mar 14:35  And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
Mar 14:36  And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
Mar 14:37  And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
Mar 14:38  Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
Mar 14:39  And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
Mar 14:40  And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

Mat 26:36  Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

Mat 26:40  And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
Mat 26:41  Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Mat 26:42  He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
Mat 26:43  And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.
Mat 26:44  And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

THE PRAYER CLOUDS

THE PRAYER CLOUDS

Rev 8:3  And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
Rev 8:4  And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
Psa 141:2  Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Our prayers rises up as the smoke of incense to God, when saints in the unity of faith lift up their hands in prayer, it can be so gigantic that it rises as a cloud to God and over that group of saints.

Exo 17:10  So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
Exo 17:11  And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
Exo 17:12  But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Moses, Aaron and Hur joined their hands in agreement with the rod of God which the symbol of God’s authority by doing this they invoked a cloud of prayer and warfare over Joshua and his army such that their enemies were overcome. Joshua and his army were not doing the praying/agreeing rather Moses, Aaron and Hur on the top of the hill.
The lifting up of Moses' hands holding the rod of God supported by Aaron and Hur formed the prayer cloud of warfare.  Our prayers act as a cloud of protection and a defense to spiritual confrontation depending on the nature/strength of our prayers.

The believers and the saints can by prayer of agreement form a cloud over the angels of God. Captain Joshua and his army can be a picture of Michael and his angels, we must know that in Christ we are in a higher position of authority with respect to the throne of Christ than the angel.

It is important to know that after Christ rose from the dead, He obtained all powers in heaven and the earth and has delegated this powers to the saint.
Mat 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Col 1:15  Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Eph 1:17  That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18  The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
Eph 1:19  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Eph 1:20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Eph 1:22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

And it is also important to understand that Christ by the revelation knowledge of Him had given us the keys of the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 16:15  He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 16:18  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19  And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mat 18:18  Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Mat 18:19  Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 18:20  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

It is also powerful to know that the keys of the kingdom of heaven is released in the revelation of Jesus Christ and also in the Unity of Faith in the Knowledge of the Son of God by the Holy Ghost. These keys are released by
The testimony of the revelation of Jesus Christ (that He is the Son of God).
The Prayer of Agreement in the Unity of Faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God.

The prayer of Agreement is what was demonstrated by Moses, Aaron and Hur on the mount. This was a physical gathering upon a mount to form the prayer cloud over Joshua and his army. In Christ we are not restricted by physical boundaries but by the power of the Holy Ghost we as believers have access to heaven by faith through the blood of Jesus Christ
Heb 9:12  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Heb 10:19  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Secondly, the Church is beyond the physical gathering of believers in a particular building. We are told in Scriptures that there is a Church of the Firstborn that is written in heaven.
Heb 2:12  Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
Heb 2:13  And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Heb 12:22  But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

We can be gathered in and to this Church of the Firstborn upon mount Zion in heaven by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Co 5:3  For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
1Co 5:4  In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

In Scriptures we see two persons who by the glory of God were physically present in a location by their spirits were taken out to a different place yet alive.

Eze 8:1  And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.
Eze 8:2  Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
Eze 8:3  And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
Eze 8:4  And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

Prophet Ezekiel was physically seated before the elders of Judah yet the hand of the Lord took him by the hair, not his physical body but his spirit out of his body while he sat with the elders to the temple at Jerusalem. The great Apostle Paul from the Scripture above in 1 Cor. 5:3-4 reveals how that though he was not with the Corinthian believers was with them in the spirit by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Of the encounters that John had, some could be explained as bilocation while others can only be understood as him being translated like as Paul stated in 2 Cor. 12
2Co 12:1  It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2Co 12:2  I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
2Co 12:3  And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
2Co 12:4  How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter

Apostle John was teleported to heaven or the spirit realm as at Revelation 10 because the book with which he recorded the things he saw couldn't have being solely of spiritual substance unable to find manifestation in the physical realm but he was teleported with his book to heaven otherwise whatever he would had recorded would have been useless for on waking up from his vision; his book would have lost substance for use in the earthly realm.
If he was not teleported to heaven, it would have being needless for the voice that spoke from heaven forbidden him to write the words of the seven thunders to do so.

The cases of Prophet Ezekiel and Apostle Paul reveals the possible absence of our human spirits from our physical bodies while we are yet active physically where to our conscious awareness or not.

In the case of Prophet Elisha, it was with his conscious awareness in the which his heart (spirit) was with Gehazi when he received the gifts from Naaman and how that he heareth whatever the king of Syria said in his bedroom.
2 Kings 5:25-26
25 Then he went in and stood before his master Elisha.
"Where have you been, Gehazi?" Elisha asked.
"Your servant didn't go anywhere," Gehazi answered.
26 But Elisha said to him, "Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to take money, or to accept clothes, olive groves, vineyards, flocks, herds, or menservants and maidservants?
NIV

2Ki 6:12  And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

In Unity of faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, we believers through the power of the Holy Spirit in the prayer of agreement can have our faith and spirit united in the Lord upon mount Zion in the heavenly Jerusalem, in the Church of the firstborn.

Eph 4:3  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Eph 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

1Co 6:17  But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Eph 5:30  For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

By the Holy Spirit, born of the blood of Jesus Christ we are one and therefore our spirits can be united in heaven even without our direct conscious awareness.
Remember the just shall leave by faith. Romans 1:17

This unity of our spirit is only made possible in the faith that believes that Jesus is the Son of God. And it is the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Christ, the Son of the Living God that Jesus called the keys of the kingdom of heaven.
1Jn 5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jn 5:5  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
1Jn 5:6  This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
1Jn 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1Jn 5:8  And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
1Jn 5:9  If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

The 120 disciples of Jesus Christ after His ascension to heaven were gathered together at the upper room on the day of pentecost. As they sought the LORD in prayers, a mighty rushing wind from heaven filled the entire room.
Act 2:1  And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
This was a cloud of prayer that was manifested, although the cloud was not visibly manifest as the wind, but spiritually it was a cloud that came with that wind. Oftentimes the wind is always associated with clouds (Eccl. 11:4)
The Lord Jesus sitteth crowned upon a white cloud (Rev. 14:14). Our prayers in forming a cloud enthrones Jesus over our lives for it is of His throne.
Ps 104:3
3 and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot
and rides on the wings of the wind.
NIV

1Ki 18:44  And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
1Ki 18:45  And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.
Rainfall is always an activity of clouds and wind. The wind that came into that upper room brought on the disciples that rain of fire. But it is worthy to note that they were all with one accord in one place. Two striking words, one accord and one place.  In this our times the revival of the end-times that the church anticipates to come upon the saints which will usher great manifestation of the supernatural powers of God such that men will be enable to operate with angelic capabilities and much more; which is a combination of the former and latter rain will only be possible when believers are with one accord and in one place.

Currently, the Church is so divided that being of one accord and in one place, two important conditions that must be met before revival in the order of Pentecost will occur is almost impossible. But in the Unity of faith of the Son of God (ONE ACCORD) upon mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem and church of the firstborn (ONE PLACE). This will be possible regardless of our bias and prejudices after we have had our spirits sanctified.

It is interesting to note that our Lord Jesus Christ while he walked this earth formed a cloud of prayer and fellowship which is recorded in three places of scriptures.

Mat 17:1  And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
Mat 17:2  And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Mat 17:3  And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Mat 17:4  Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Mat 17:5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Mat 17:6  And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
Mat 17:7  And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
Mat 17:8  And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
Mat 17:9  And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

Mar 9:1  And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
Mar 9:2  And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.
Mar 9:3  And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
Mar 9:4  And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.
Mar 9:5  And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Mar 9:6  For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.
Mar 9:7  And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
Mar 9:8  And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.
Mar 9:9  And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

Luk 9:27  But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
Luk 9:28  And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
Luk 9:29  And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
Luk 9:30  And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
Luk 9:31  Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
Luk 9:32  But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
Luk 9:33  And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
Luk 9:34  While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
Luk 9:35  And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Luke 9:28-29 reveals how that as Jesus prayed, his countenance was altered such that his face shone as the sun and His garments white and glistening and also at the same time, Moses and Elias began talking with Jesus about His death. Then cometh a cloud of God's Presence that overshadowed the All the six men present on that high mountain proclaiming that Jesus is the Son of God.

It was the event of the transfiguration that Jesus prophesied that they were some standing among them that would not see death until the Kingdom of God be revealed with power which was not else but a higher revelation of the Sonship of Jesus Christ with a greater measure of glory. For as at the time of Christ's baptism, the heavens were opened and the Holy Ghost came upon Him as lightning but in this event of the transfiguration, Christ is illuminated and radiating the glory of God as well as a great white cloud overshadowing while Jesus, Moses, Elijah, Peter, James and John were having a communion in the spirit through the prayer of Jesus Christ.
These event of the transfiguration manifests the possibilities of our having fellowship with the spirits of just men made perfect and even with angels; for all are also members of the church of the firstborn that is written in heaven. Remember it is the same key that Christ had revealed in Matthew 16:17-19 that was manifest in the transfiguration of Matthew 17 and thereafter the establishment of the power of agreement in Matthew 18:18

Moses and Elijah were in the spirit with Christ while he walked the earth and often did have fellowship with them in this dimension in that cloud of prayer and fellowship. It forms with a pyramid descending from the Lord Jesus Christ at the Apex to Moses and Elijah for the spirits of just men made perfect and to the three pillars Cephas, James and John. It was in the fellowship of this order that brought about the manifestation of the Kingdom of God with power in the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Son of God in whom He is well pleased.

Of this encounter, apostle Peter was later to recount
2Pe 1:17  For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
2Pe 1:18  And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
2Pe 1:19  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2Pe 1:20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Continuing in the cloud of prayer, the beloved Apostle John, one of those three on that great mount was in the Spirit on the Lord's day and heard a loud voice as of a trumpet in Revelation 1.
Rev 1:10  I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Rev 1:11  Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Rev 1:12  And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Rev 1:13  And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
Rev 1:14  His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Rev 1:15  And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Rev 1:16  And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Rev 1:17  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Rev 1:18  I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Rev 1:19  Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Rev 1:20  The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Being in the Spirit on the Lord's day i.e. in a state of union with the Lord, possibly praying although not obviously stated. But in regards to the cloud of prayer, we do not see any visible manifestation of a cloud in this vision but Christ's voice here is described as the sound of many waters. And from our basic lessons on clouds we understand that clouds are a suspended collection of water vapour alongside other distinguishing components. Using an experience from other parts of scriptures with similar features we can establish that the voice of a trumpet in the order that the Apostle did hear had a manifestation of the glory cloud and for the fact that the voice of the Lord here is described as that of the sound of many waters.
Ex 19:16
16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
KJV

Jesus Christ in this vision of Revelation 1 stands as the Apostle and High Priest of the Church (Hebrews 3:1) being girded about the pap with a golden girdle like Aaron the High Priest(Ex. 28:3-4), for in the place of the Seven Candlesticks of the Menorah(representing The Operation of the Seven Spirits in the seven churches) is the place of the table of shew bread (Christ as the High Priest shared this bread to His apostles at the communion table Lev 24:5, 2 Chr. 13:11 and we know how the twelve apostles represents the church)and is the place of the altar of Incense; which is the altar of prayers, the place of the cloud of prayer. So in this vision, the Lord Jesus Christ, apostle John and seven pastors and their angels of the seven churches stood in this cloud of prayer in the inner-court in the place of the altar of incense.
By the power of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Spirit we can have fellowship with the Lord at this level and frequency by faith. We can like the Apostle John be caught up in the Spirit to this high plain were we can effect changes in heaven and have them reverberate on the earth in the church.

THE ANGEL OF THE LORD
Rev 10:1  And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
Rev 10:2  And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
Rev 10:3  And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

Rev 11:3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

This angel that comes down from heaven is the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit. The two witnesses that stands before the God of the earth is none else but Moses and Elijah; for as much as these two witnesses spoke of and saw Christ manifest as the Lamb of God as touching His death, these too will manifest the testimony that He is the Lion of Judah, the Root of David having obtained all powers in heaven and earth and thus planting His feet on them.

Just like on the mount of transfiguration, Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost is here manifest in His glory with His face as the sun like as on that mount but this time clothed with a cloud. The Lord here speaks of the ministry of His two witnesses, for yet Elijah shall come to prepare the way of the Lord and Moses the servant over God's house shall set up His tabernacles again in righteousness and true holiness.
Just as Christ when He began to pray brought the manifestation of that glorious cloud that declared His Sonship, so will believers as we begin to pray bring the manifestation of the Lord and His two witnesses.

When we cross compare the revelation in the book of Revelation Chapter 10 with the transfiguration of Jesus Christ we can by the wisdom of the Spirit decipher that what the voices of the seven thunders spake which John was not permitted to write was nothing more than the revelation of Jesus Christ.
When God did spake in glorifying His Son Jesus Christ, the bible remarked that it thundered
John 12:28-29 Father, glorify your name!"  Then a voice came from heaven, "I have glorified it, and will glorify it again." 29 The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him. NIV
This revelation of Jesus Christ which the Seven thunders uttered is the testimony of the two witnesses. It was Christ's roar as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the root of David that brought the response of the voice of the Seven thunders.

Because Christ has delegated His authority to the Church, The Angel of the LORD will plant His feet on both the sea and the land manifesting His authority over them when the Church by the exercise of their authority in God's word and through the power of His name by the Holy Ghost establish their dominion over the sea and the land like as the Adamic mandate
Psa 24:1  A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psa 24:2  For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods

The Clouds

Scriptural Teachings about Clouds.
There is the tangible presence of God that can permeate the atmosphere) at various intensity. The very space is charged with God's presence. 1 Kings 8:11-13

What is a cloud? There are a cumulative suspension of distilled water in the air. So the glory of God caused the water droplet to suspend in the air

This tangible presence is a manifestation of God's glory. It is different from the residual (residing) presence of God

The cloud in 1 Kings 8:11 represents a high manifestation of His glory.

Every place has its own atmosphere. Every place has its own prevailing attributes and qualities. Just as the desert has an attribute of great hotness in the day and terrible cold in the night, so does every place have its own attributes. The children of the Israelites in their sojourning the desert carried their own atmosphere.

Exo 13:21  And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
Exo 13:22  He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

The glory of God was with them. The conditions of the desert did not prevail against them.
The heat - the cloud - the darkness

We all carry a measure of God's presence in our spirit. We let this presence saturate our atmosphere when we worship and praise God. We also saturate our atmosphere when we speak forth words of power i.e. the word of the God effect changes in our environment. By doing the above, the atmosphere prevailing over a place will not influence us, rather the atmosphere of God's glory.
The cloud over a place could prevail in a form of wickedness, laziness or righteousness.
Praying in tongues also conditions your atmosphere.

JESUS is the Son of man that sits upon the cloud of witness. Rev. 14:14; Heb.12:1-2

Isa 6:4  And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

Eze 1:4  And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

A cloud: any mass of dust, steam and smoke resembling such a mass. Anything which makes things foggy and gloomy.
There are cloud nine types according to meteorology which is a manifestation of the spiritual. They are classified according to their altitude and behaviour.
Clouds are above the mountains
Clouds are weather agents that conditions our atmosphere and can affect the magnitude and intensity of light and heat that we receive from heaven.

Colossal powers
Spiritual clouds are what constitutes colossal powers that work against people at a very high magnitude and it is one of the operations of the power of the air.
The blood of Jesus Christ forms a cloud of protection upon God’s people and can shield them from the activities of dark clouds when we abide in it through faith. Angels often stand upon the redemptive rights of the blood of Jesus in counter petitioning Satan when defending God’s people.

Thank you LORD Jesus, for the cloud of protection in your blood.

Spiritual clouds come about through the thoughts, words, desires and activity of people, and place over time in generations or successions. This clouds give evil spirits/fallen angels grounds to precipitate over the atmosphere and influence our environment depending on the nature of that cloud. Apart from the general clouds; there are also specific cloud types specified by the nature of timings activity timings.
Generational clouds
Seasonal clouds
Activities
Sins committed by a given people

The coal of fire from God’s altar can purify a land that has being desecrated especially with blood.
The blood of the Lamb is a seal of protection and restriction over God’s people and even property; we can seal off our properties from the influence of evil spirits with the blood of Jesus using oil.

Evil spiritual clouds are part of those high things that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God over people, time and things. This is also the agency that makes barren peoples, lands and shut up their heavens with darkness so that there will be no light to breakthrough.
Isa 60:2  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

There are ancestral clouds, generational clouds that forms layers over a described people, place and time.

There are also clouds of curses.

It is worthy to note that after the Lord GOD created the day and the night, He made the clouds next.

There are nine clouds identified in scriptures which somehow corresponds to nine classes of physical clouds that we have on earth.

THE CLOUD OF THE BLOOD (the blood of Jesus Christ).
(Leviticus 16    The Cloud of His Holiness)
Lev 16:12  And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
Lev 16:13  And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
Lev 16:14  And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

The cloud comes about by the incense meeting with the cloud of fire of the altar before the Lord then the blood of sprinkling comes in contact with the cloud sanctifying it and making it a holy cloud; because the blood cleanses and makes holy.
Heb 9:21  Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Heb 9:22  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The blood of Jesus Christ is a cloud of incense, a cloud of Holiness that covers our imperfections and infirmities and weakness when we enter into the presence of God in the Holies of holies at the mercy seat. This cloud of holiness can also be a cloud of protection; when the Holiness/Righteousness of Christ in His life defends us against the assaults of darkness especially against the accusation of Satan’s.
This cloud can counter and disassemble all other contrary clouds when applied in faith. The blood of the Lamb is the blood of sprinkling.

THE CLOUD OF ANGELIC PROTECTION
Exo 13:21  And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
Exo 13:22  He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

The presence of angels forms a cloud over where and on whom they operate when observed from a particular spiritual plane of reality.
Every personality has a form/kind of fragrance/incense which constitutes a cloud, so where angelic activity precipitate on a subject, their presence can be so manifest such that a cloud appears.

THE CLOUD OF FELLOWSHIP
(The prophetic clouds)
1Co 10:1  Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2  And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

The spiritual cloud over a spiritual house are the prophetic coverings that overshadows people in a given congregation or fellowship. The clouds are described majorly by the grace, blessings, infirmities, weakness and even errors and sins.
A fellowship of grace and spiritual enrichment, a fragrance/perfume of the unique anointing/presence that is effectual in a place.
1Co 10:3  And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
1Co 10:4  And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

THE CLOUD OF HIS PRESENCE AND GLORY
Eze 1:4  And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
Eze 1:28  As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
Isa 6:1  In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Isa 6:2  Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
Isa 6:3  And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Isa 6:4  And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

1Ki 8:10  And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,
1Ki 8:11  So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.
The presence of God comes with the cloud of Glory which are white holy clouds. The thickness of the cloud in a way affects the extent to which God’s presence is sensed.

THE CLOUD OF WITNESSES
Heb 12:1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

A cloud is a concentrated form of a gaseous manifestation such that it exhibit properties of physical tangibility to the senses of touch, sight, smell and even sound. The spirits of just men made perfect and the holy angels constitute this cloud of witness and Jesus Christ, the faithful witness is the Son of man that sits upon the cloud of witnesses.

Rev 1:5  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Rev 14:14  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

Jesus Christ sits above all clouds and He sits upon the cloud of witnesses being the faithful and true witness beholding everything going on in His body; the Church.

PRAYER CLOUDS

Our prayers act as a cloud of protection and a defense to spiritual confrontation depending on the nature/strength of our prayers.

CLOUDS OF RAIN/ABUNDANCE

Clouds could contain dust particles, smokes and incense, they could also be concentrates of water vapour which over time lead to precipitation or rainfall. The spiritual condition over a subject is conditioned by clouds. Cloud activity tend to influence the extent of barrenness or fruitfulness of a land. Some places that experiences spiritual drought is as a virtue of dry and barren clouds that are over the place and lands that are fruitful are because of rain clouds of blessing over the place.
They are good rainfall and evil ones, this is dependent on the activities of that environment that evaporates to form its cloud.
Ecc 11:3  If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
Ecc 11:4  He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

Gen 8:2  The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

Clouds are what act as the windows of heaven.
Gen 1:6  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Gen 1:7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen 1:8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day

The clouds is what constitutes the second heavens and here it is referred to as the waters above.

The rain of blessings and righteousness comes about by the coagulation of the clouds of righteousness. Rain of revival in a congregation come about from persistent prayers of the saints over prolonged period.

THE CLOUD OF HIS VOICE
Rev. 1:15  And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Matt 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!" NIV
Psa. 29:3  The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters
Jer. 10:13 When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses. NIV
Isa. 6:4  And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
When God speaks, the voice of His words produces waters and we know that the clouds are the waters in the heaven.

THE CLOUD OF HIS LIGHT.

Exo 14:19  And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
Exo 14:20  And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

The pillar of fire by night was the same pillar of cloud by day.

Ezek 1:4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north — an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, NIV

The glory of God that prophet Ezekiel saw was described as an immense cloud coming with light.

THE CLOUD OF HIS THRONE
Job 26:9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it. KJV

THE CLOUD OF HIS BREATHE
2Sa 22:9  There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
2Sa 22:10  He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
2Sa 22:11  And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
2Sa 22:12  And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

THE CLOUD OF HIS FIRE
Exo 13:21  And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
Exo 13:22  He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

Depending on the nature of the vision that we are receiving and what the Lord seeks to reveal or show to us; we might see the clouds of the Lord's glory as a devouring fire.
Exo 19:18  And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

The cloud of His Presence and Glory
The cloud of Witnesses
The cloud of Prayer
The cloud of Rain/Abundance
The cloud of His Voice
The cloud of His Light
The cloud of His Throne

The above named clouds are all pure clouds which are of God in purity and in truth.
But there are also evil clouds which are directly opposite in character and nature to the above class of cloud.

Clouds of sin
Clouds of barrenness
Clouds of generational curses
Clouds of wickedness
Clouds of demons

These evil clouds come about by the prolonged and repeated activity of a people/place over time and dependent on the threshold of that cloud, it will precipitate evil upon the land of that people.
Sin/wickedness/curses/evil altars especially bloodshed raises foul odour and an evil incense into the spiritual atmosphere of a place and in time agglomerate to form evil clouds which tends to influence other activity and can even become oppositions to Christians; becoming spiritual barriers that impends and resist other peoples’ progress.

Prayer:- LORD, let the bright clouds of your glory shine forth upon the church; the kingdom of heaven on earth.

The LORD MOST HIGH sits upon the mount of the congregation which is above the heights of the clouds.
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness

The wind of the Spirit can cleanse the clouds upon the church; from the first disciples to this generation of the church.

The blood of Jesus as a holy cloud can sanctify and make hallow the cloud upon the church of Christ and disassemble the clouds of darkness upon it with which the accuser of the brethren had withstood the church accusing them daily before God.

This prayer of sanctification by the blood of Jesus us to be done in unity of faith with the spirits of just men made perfect being part of the church of the first-born; joining your faith with seven other believers irrespective of their distance from you in the Spirit of faith; the Holy Spirit. Calling on Jesus, the One who was, is and is to come, the same, Yesterday, Today and Forever, The Beginning and the Ending thereof.

The past and the future are what influences the present.

Clouds also have voices because the water has a voice. The clouds of heaven are what constitutes the beauty of His holiness.

Clouds are also for judgement
Job 36:29-32
29 Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
30 Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
31 For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
32 With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt. KJV

Job 37:11-13

11 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
13 He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
KJV

20/2/14

Isa 44:22  I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Transgression and sins forms a thick cloud over a person, people or place, and also righteousness forms a cloud of blessing over it’s subject.

1Ki 8:10  And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,
1Ki 8:11  So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

Mat 27:51  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Heb 9:24  For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

Heb 10:10  By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

There is a temple in heaven typified by a physical one, Jesus went into heaven as High Priest of the new Testament with His own blood and as shown in the ordinance of the high priest of the old covenant, Jesus had to sprinkle the blood also with the cloud that covereth the mercy seat and His sacrifice became the source of eternal redemption for it was acceptable unto God.
Then there was no longer a need for the veil and thus the glory of God/ the power of God and also that cloud of God’s glory and this time having the blood of Jesus in it spread out into the temple and even out of it that the earth shook and the rocks rent.

The blood of Jesus in the clouds act as a sanctifier which can go back and forth through time, since by it the sins of the whole world from the fall of man was atoned for. This cloud can also cover the future; securing it from any form of evil.

21/2/2014
Clouds bring about the orchestration of events in people’s life.

28/2/2014
There are also evil clouds upon the church and churches, these will tend to resist the move of God over a congregation or fellowship. These evil clouds come about by sins (done in and by the fellowship especially its leaders) undealt with.

PRAYERS
LORD, disperse the unholy clouds with the light of your glory and let the wind of Heaven, the wind of the Spirit blow them away completely.
LORD, let the holy cloud of the blood of Jesus Christ, the blood of sprinkling cleanse my spiritual atmosphere and the heaven above me that it be pure and opened.
LORD, let your bright clouds appear over me and let them begin to shine their light; for my light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon me.
LORD, let the heavens rain down righteousness and blessings and let the earth spring forth salvation
[Gen 1; Job 37; Ps 29, 93; Rev 12; Ps 147; Ps 24]

THE WATERS (Genesis 1:6-10)
The clouds constitutes the waters above with the combination of other substances such as smoke, dust and small particles that conglomerates in the sky. The waters below is liquid water which make up the flood, seas, oceans and other water bodies.

Gen 1:7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Until the waters were gathered, the dry land could not appear and thus the Earth was barred from bringing forth and being fruitful.

Gen 7:19  And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

The waters hath power to overthrow the earth and prevail upon it, cover it and seal it completely for
For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Ps 24:2

The waters are instrument of judgment for with it God destroyed the earth during the days of Noe.

LORD, let the waters over my earth be gathered unto one place and let the dry land apperar.
LORD, let the waters be restrained from coming upon my land by your set boundaries; for you made a covenant with Father Noah; that you will no longer destroy the Earth with water in Gen. 9:11.
Job 38:8  Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
Job 38:9  When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
Job 38:10  And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
Job 38:11  And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
LORD, you have the sound of the voice of living waters, LORD, let your river of life heal my land.
LORD, let your voice still the flood that are lifting up their noises and waves against me like as you said “peace be still” and let the blast of your nostrils make the floods of adversity frost.

The birds of the air and the creatures of the sea were called forth from the water, so birds are essentially marine creatures.

Clouds continued                        21/4/2014

Isa 60:1  Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Isa 60:2  For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Activities done on earth creates and releases smoke/incense/vapour which agglomerates to form clouds over a people/place just as aerobic activities such as bush burning/ gas flaring etc. affects the cloud over us. The darkness that covers the earth and the gross darkness that covers the people results from the cumulative agglomeration of sins and transgression committed by the people of the earth over the years. The expression of sin but in action, thoughts and desire brings about darkness and it’s powers.

When Jesus died
Luk 23:44  And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
Luk 23:45  And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

He took all the darkness of sin i.e. all the clouds of sin/darkness gathered over Him because He took the sins of the whole world from Adam to the day before the white throne judgment. The death of Christ destroyed the clouds of sin and darkness that covered the earth and opened the veil of the innermost place, the holy of holies where the glory of God above and ushered into earth a new revelation of God’s manifest presence.

By faith in Christ in His death and resurrection, evil clouds can be destroyed and dark powers can be overcome.
“LORD Jesus, you died and took away my cloud of darkness and by your cross the power of darkness were overcome” You took my darkness and gave me your light, now you sit upon a white cloud. For the LORD sitteth upon the flood, yea, the LORD sitteth KING forever.

Rev 14:14  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

Isa 45:8  Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

If the heavens can pour down righteousness, then it can also rain down wickedness. For if the cloud be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth. There are also clouds of wickedness and seeds of death. In time, the wicked deeds and iniquities of our fathers rains upon our lands and the lands brings forth fruits of death and desolation for God cannot be mocked, a man reaps what he sows. Something has to be done about this cloud of wickedness and seeds/trees of desolation for there make the land desolate that none can lay a stone upon another in it.

Spiritual wickedness in high places cannot work against a person or a place unless there is wickedness in that person or place. In dealing with spiritual wickedness, the Bible says we wrestle/contend/contest against in our contention against wickedness in high places, one of the grounds/points they have against us is the iniquities/wickedness done by our fathers and mothers and the wickedness done in the place of our origination. Only in the cross and throne of Christ can we counter this arguments and the first step is the step of humility before God.

Acknowledging the sin/wickedness of our ancestors
Confessing them before God and receive atonement for by the blood of Jesus.

Lev 26:40  If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
Lev 26:41  And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
Lev 26:42  Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

When this is done, then the new covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ can be effected against the wicked spirits and their wickedness and all their arguments and proud things can be destroyed for our weapons are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.

The second step is the action of faith.

Declaring the saving work of Christ where in it He took the dark clouds that engrossed the earth and it’s inhabitants in darkness destroyed it by His blood and opened the way for the glory of God to flow into and be manifest in the earth.

Worship God who is the LORD that sits upon the floods and the Son of man that sits upon the clouds 00:44 am

Another very important thing to note in dealing with wicked forces is
Forgive all those who have done you wickedly including witches and wizards; also asking the Heavenly Father to forgive just like Christ who cried out Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing.
Ask God to heal you of every wound of wickedness in your spirit, soul and body and for restoration of that which has being tempered with by the enemy.
Ask that God’s light shines upon the darkness that is in the heart of those wicked people who hath done you wickedly; that their eyes be opened and they repent.
